Obama-McCaskill 2008

Speaking of Vice Presidents, one of the names mentioned is Claire McCaskill, the newly elected Missouri Senator who unseated Jim Talent in 2006.

One problem, however, is that she has a sexual crush on Barack Obama. Seriously. Check out this photo.

A second problem is that McCaskill apparently has shit for self-esteem. When the Hill asked 97 Senators whether they would accept an offer to be their party's Vice President.

?If I were asked, I would ask some mental health professionals to visit Barack Obama. I just think Sen. Obama is way too smart to pick me. I?m not a good pick, and he?s smarter than that. That?s why he?s going to make such a good president.?

So given these two very large problems, I think it's unlikely Obama will pick her to be his running mate.
