Mid-Term-itis.

By Steve Pirates

ADVERTISEMENTS

I have a mid-term this semester. It is in Crim. Pro. I do not like mid-terms. I do not like Crim. Pro. As you can imagine, I am ever-so-thrilled at the combination thereof.

I have adopted a stringent study regimen for the upcoming examination. Today I was quite productive. I walked my dog for an hour. Then I came home and baked two (2) pumpkin pies. Then I broiled ten (10) chicken breasts so that I’d have quick and easy dinners for the next few weeks. Then I beat Josh at Scrabble (tying the series). Then I played Wii. Then I text messaged my fiance who is on her bachelorette party weekend extravaganza in Las Vegas this weekend. Then I wrote a letter to my Aunt. Then I did the dishes. Then I read the facebook statuses (stati?) of everyone in my Crim. Pro. class. So far it seems that everyone is as hard at work as I am. Right now I am listening to The Dining Rooms and playing soccer with my dog.

And to all you 1Ls and aspiring pre-law kids, this is totally how you get good grades in law school. For sure*.

*….. no it’s not.
