Emmy Question

I'm sure this is buried deep in the recesses of some TV article, but can someone tell me how Howie Mandel got himself nominated for Outstanding Reality Host instead of Outstanding Game Show Host? Deal or No Deal isn't a reality competition. It's a game show. Howie should have been bumped to the Daytime Emmys to get beat by Alex Trebek, who's won several thousand Game Show Host Emmys. Instead, he got to talk and talk about nothing on prime-time. Unfair. Either that or have Alex on next year to banter with Heidi Klum as she rips her clothes off. That would be better TV.
