Bracket Busted

ADVERTISEMENTS

For the record, I love sports. I love basketball, football and baseball, and choosing which one I love more is like asking a parent which child do they love more. And I know a lot about sports. Especially basketball. Seriously, I have forgotten more basketball statistics than most people ever learn in their life, in either college or NBA. I also have a particular love for March Madness. I have watched tons more college basketball this season and others. Yet, despite this vast wealth of hoops facts, I have to say that I am horrible at filling out my bracket. This year was no different. I picked USC to go to the Final Four. Why? I don?t know. I?ve seen OJ Mayo play in person, I watched USC beat UCLA and Stanford this season and thought with Tim Floyd coaching, USC could make some things happen. But, alas, USC ran into the Bill Walker, Michael Beasley buzz saw and now one of my Final Four teams is already knocked out of the first round. Just once in my life, I?d love to pick a perfect or near perfect bracket. Maybe next year.
