Bluetools

By Casebook Sherpa

ADVERTISEMENTS

What is it with people who walk around with a bluetooth device stuck in their ear like it’s the latest fashion accessory?

It hasn’t truly bothered me until recently when it seems I’m running into way too many people who do this. Now, they’re my latest pet peeve.

This morning, I stepped into an elevator with three of these bluetools. Not a one of them was talking on the phone. Okay so maybe we were all coming in from our cars and they just take the Bluetooth off once they sit down at their desks. That must be it. Nope. Just ran into one in the hallway. Yep… still in. Still not talking on the phone. And yes he even goes to the bathroom with it.

Look, you’re not that important. Neither is the conversation you’re pretending to have.

It’s not a piece of jewelry.

We don’t want to talk to you anyway so you don’t need the earpiece as an excuse to avoid being approached by anyone.

And yes, we get it, you like to talk on your cell phone. Just like the rest of us who can see fit to avoid looking like a complete d-bag when we’re not talking on our phones.

Leave the bluetooth in the car.
