Biking for A Good Cause

So for the charity portion of our Jeopardy spend-a-thon, we decided to take several thousand dollars and split it three ways: a joint donation and one for each of us. The joint donation went to Friends of the World Food Program a few days ago - thanks for all your tips. Mine has yet to be decided - too many good places!

Dan gave his to a buddy in his office at the State House who is leaving the 9-5 grind for a while to bike across the country as a fundraiser for the National Center for Family Homelessness. That's pretty awesome. Homeless kids and parents is always an upsetting thing to think about, but with the economy tight and foreclosures and gas and food prices up, this is a great time to do something like this for people who need it.

Anyway, Brendan is a cool dude, and he has a website, and if you'd like to give him a few bucks toward his goal of $10,000 he would much appreciate it.
