My first time

As in, I got called on to review a case in class for the first time today. I didn't read the case, but luckily it was in Torts. Fortunately whoever had my book obviously also had Professor Glannon, and highlighted all the same parts I would have. A couple of my classmates told me they never would have known I wasn't totally prepared. I could do that in Crim Law and can do it Torts, but no way I could get through it in Contracts. In that class, our professor picks the first person to read the case, and that poor person has to read them all!!! It sucks.

And when I got to school today, I saw signs for the first Newly Admitted Students Banquet. I can't believe it's been a year already since I found out I'd gotten accepted! Suffolk was actually my first choice school. It has an evening program, it has great connections in Boston, an amazing alumni network, amazing career services department, and Professor Yamada teaches there.

It's been about a year to the day since I first found out I'd been accepted. I still remember how excited I was, considering I didn't think I'd get a good enough LSAT score to get in anywhere (although I did respectably well). It's strange to think there's only 4 more weeks of class left before exams, and that we're almost done our first year here. And it's funny, too, to look back on my first posts about law school. It went by so fast!
