The LBA wishes to thank all who attended Thursday evening?s annual Bench and Bar gala at the historic Henry Clay. The event was a huge success due in part to the dedication of our members and affiliates. We would also like to recognize the following members who were honored for their outstanding service in 2007:

• Young Lawyers Section, Section of the Year;
• Patrick J. Moran, Paul G. Tobin Pro Bono Service Award;
• Melanie Straw-Boone, Judge Richard A. Revell Family Law Award;
• Scott D. Spiegel, Distinguished Service Award;
• Charles E. Ricketts Jr., Justice Martin E. Johnstone Special Recognition Award;
• Justice William E. McAnulty Jr., Judge Benjamin F. Shobe Civility and Professionalism Award.

The evening was made special not only by our attending guests and award winners, but also by those who contributed to and participated in the live and silent auctions generating over $5300 for the Louisville Bar Foundation.
