Reflections on using Twitter for Blawg Review

A few weeks back I hosted Blawg Revew #178 for the third time. What made this time different from the previous times I had hosted it was that I delivered Blawg Review in two ways - in addition to the standard blog post, I used Twitter throughout the day to deliver the links I was including Blawg Review (see here and here or @BlawgReview178). 

Although I enjoyed using Twitter to disseminate Blawg Review #178, in hindsight I would have used Twitter for so much more than simply using it as another way to post the links.  So if I am given the opportunity to host Blawg Review again I will use Twitter to help put together my Blawg Review - inviting people to send me links via Twitter, having a discussion with others on Twitter about what should be included in the Review, as well using Twitter to evangelise Blawg Review.

However, in the meantime, remember to visit Blawg Review each week to see the latest round up from the blawgosphere.
