Following the lead of my friend Kate Carruthers, I now post to my blog each Friday five real people I am recommending as part of #followfriday on Twitter.  I like this approach as it makes the #followfriday suggestions more personal and allows an opportunity for me to (briefly) explain why I am suggesting each person. 

Today's #followfriday recommendations are all Brisbane-based twitterers who make me smile.  They are five nice guys who tweet about their lives with refreshing candor and good humour:

@sleemol is a journalist who is now masquerading in public relations.  He loves work, wine, classic (or is that bad?) music from the 90s, and interior design.  Also, you should check out his Domino's Taste Police videos on YouTube.

@BlueWaterBoy tweets with an exuberant innocence and joy for life that is contagious.

@scottsues is a little more cynical, but still a delight to follow.

@iusebiro is an animator whose quirky and fun outlook on life continues to surprise.

@kjmci is worth following even though he is about to desert Brisbane for Melbourne.
