Im Ausland werden Bibliotheken und Bibliothekare oft viel stärker wahrgenommen, als in Deutschland. Dies gilt vor allem für die USA, wo sie häufiger in Filmen, Büchern und manchmal sogar in Liedern vorkommen.
Ein Beispiel ist der “Librarian Song”, gesungen von Joe Uveges: “When there are things I need to find / Oh my Libararian, she is so fine”. Danke für den Hinweis an “The loney Librarian”!
