: China HearsayJet Li Agrees With Me
By Stan
Noticed the following nugget today (h/t Shanghaiist):
Jet Li (???) has stepped out to criticise the use of rankings to keep track of which corporations/celebrities have donated the most toward earthquake relief, saying charity should not be measured in purely monetary terms and that there are a lot of people donating RMB1 or RMB5 when that is all they’ve got.
This agrees quite nicely with my earlier rantings this week on quake donations. A little moral support from the glitterati is always nice.
