Very little going on today worthy of a post, even on this blog, which tends of late to specialize in useless trivialities.
The torrent of Olympics-related stuff out there, which had the potential to be quite interesting given the sheer number of journalists running about in Beijing, has devolved into a ridiculous discussion of two topics: 1) pollution; and 2) treatment of journalists.
Is there anyone more fascinated with himself/herself than a journalist? It’s amazing. Maybe bloggers . . .
Anyway, here’s the only thing I saw today that stood out, and it’s a stupid decision from a court in Spain. Looks like I’m having a Javascript problem with links — you can cut and paste this while I sort out the problem:
