I am in China and was defrauded by a Pakistani Partner, What can I Do?

Hi, I was wondering if you could give me any advice. My father owns a textile business in China. He was recently defrauded by his Pakistani partner. He has already contacted the Pakistani embassy and is seeking help from lawyers in China, but I was wondering if there is anything else he could do or that I could do to help him. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks
