By Akin Gump Supreme Court Practice Group
The Young Lawyers Section of the Bar Association of D.C. is hosting a panel discussion tonight called “The Supreme Court of the United States: A Young Lawyer’s Perspective and the Year in Review.” SCOTUSblog publisher Tom Goldstein and Jenner & Block associate Lindsay Harrison will discuss the key issues that the Court has addressed over the past year. Harrison will also give a play-by-play recount of her recent oral argument before the Court last term in Nken v. Holder. Professor Suzette Malveaux will moderate.
The panel runs from 6:30?8:30 p.m., in the Walter A. Slowinski Courtroom of Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. For more details, see the event flyer here.
