ADVERTISEMENTS

Welcome to Professor Sarah Cravens, our newest co-bCravens06logger.  Sarah is an associate professor of law at the University of Akron School of Law, and she focuses her research on judicial ethics.  In particular, Sarah writes on the role of the judge, focusing in recent articles and book chapters on the concept of impartiality, the use of appearances in recusal analysis, and the importance of explicit reason-giving in judicial opinions.  She also has the great distinction of having taken professional responsibility from legal ethics superstar (and co-blogger) Brad Wendel.  Welcome Sarah!
