Sanford, Ensign and The Family

NPR has a report about the recent revelations of infidelity by Sen. John Ensign and Gov. Mark Sanford that focuses on their relationship to a secretive Christian group called The Family (sometimes The Fellowship). Both men were involved with the group and much of the discussion that preceded those revelations took place in a house near Capitol Hill that the group owns.

That house, known as C Street, is a gathering place for politicians associated with the group to meet and pray. Sanford actually mentioned the house during his confession in front of the press:
