: Legal Ethics ForumMost Interesting Law Professor Sidelines
I mentioned below that Seton Hall Professor David Feige has co-created and is a writer for a new television show on the criminal justice system. I know that other law professors have interesting sidelines and was hoping to get a list of them in the comments. Who do you think has the most interesting side job in legal academia?
Of course, there is a more serious question here, which is whether these gigs are worth pursuing for a law professor. In general, I think they enhance the reputation of the school. Students usually find these experiences to be fascinating, as do alumni. And I think the experiences usually add something to a professor's teaching and scholarship. There are exceptions, of course, but in general, I think these sidelines can be valuable for the professor and the institution. Other reactions? Put those in the comments as well.
