GOP Reps Align with Muslim Nations Against Gay NGO

In case you needed more evidence that the goals of the religious right in America often aligns with the goals of radical Islam around the world, take a look at this letter sent by two religious right congressmen, Chris Smith of New Jersey and Trent Franks of Arizona, to the nations on a UN committee that controls the recognition of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
The letter demands that they vote not to give recognition to the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission as an official consultative group to the UN. TPM shows you who these two are aligning themselves with:
