Nursing Home May Hire Consultant/Manager to Improve Care

By Levin & Perconti

ADVERTISEMENTS

The Champaign County Nursing Home Board of Directors may hire an out-of-state firm to either consult or manage the home. The number or residents at the home has been consistently dropping since the State of Illinois barred new Medicare/Medicaid residents after a series of inspections last year. The consulting firm has helped other failing nursing homes in the state get back on track.
