The email edition is now available. No  favorable decisions are noted for the period this edition covers (from July 14 to July 21, 2008).  One favorable development, however, is noted. Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry commuted Kevin Young’s sentence to life Thursday. “In testimony presented at the board?s clemency hearing, Young?s attorneys argued the shooting was not premeditated and did not merit a capital sentence.
