It's easy to focus on the negative, but what about all the successes?

Like I put in the title, it's easy to focus on the negative stories, because it gets ratings and helps to further compound the issue of sexual crimes, and to justify their bogus statistics.  But, what about all the successes? If all you do is focus on the negative, then the problem will always look larger than it is. Out of the occasional offender who reoffends, there are thousands more who have not, yet everyone concentrates on those who do. Of course some will reoffend, that is...
