Via Volokh and Sentencing Law & Policy, I see Slate is offering up a new blog with an amazing list of contributors named Convictions.  I agree with Berman that the form of the Blog isn't the best and it isn't clear what the focus is going to be.  I think it is a mistake for media outlets to use blog formats that don't flow as well as the wonderful formats available through services like Typepad.  Despite those flaws, I'm already subscribed via Bloglines and will be interested to see how the new blog develops.
