Update on Kenneth Foster & the situation at the McConnell Unit

Hello Everyone,Kenneth Foster asked me to update everyone on the situation at the McConnellUnit. The last few months Kenneth and the rest of the guys in level G5 - themost restrictive level at the McConnell Unit - have been denied recreationtime. The excuse is that they are short staffed but it is only this section ofthe prison that is getting penalized. For a couple of weeks it looked like thesituation was improving but it has turned around once again and these guys arebeing forced to stay in their cells for 24 hours a day for days at a time. Thisis inhumane! The situation for February is as follows:2/3: Allowed time in Day room2/4 - 2/8: No rec (in cell for 5 straight days)2/9: Allowed to go outside2/10 - 2/12: No rec (in cell for 3 days)I do not know what the situation was from February 13th up until today but willupdate you when I have more information...continue to full post
