Solid reviews - it's only been a week, but the fresh faces have been well received.  In County Court, John Fry and Ed Merrigan had jury trials already.  Is it any surprise both were not guiltys?  Mardi Cohen and Mindy Solomon have also come on strong, checking to make sure pleas on probation cases were counseled, and issuing ROR Capiases to compel attendance and save tax dollars, respectively.  Sure, any one of the new guys could break into Robe Fever around the time rotation would kick in in normal Circuits, or certainly sooner.  Everyone knows how unpredictable THE FEVER can be.  All we're saying, it's good so many of the new judges have both Defense and State experience.  Purely one or the other seems to have made for a lot of basket case judges in the past...continue to full post
