SPUTNIK 1 IS MORE EFFICIENT

 Wired for Sound ...Announcing The Satellite Project - Everyone knows the satellite courthouses are models of inefficiency.  Three separate facilities boasting multiple courtrooms, rarely in use.  The judges stationed way out there have it made, with no one keeping tabs on their comings and mostly goings.  And don't be surprised if you happen to stop by and see a courtroom in use one late afternoon.  If you look carefully, you'll see a Traffic Magistrate, doing the work voters elected our oh so important county judges to do.Sure, some satellite judges work hard.  And they're not always supposed to be in the courtrooms, since they also handle civil matters in hearing rooms.  The bottom line, however, is that while the county is getting ready to pay a gazillion tax payer dollars for a new downtown courthouse over space and health concerns, the satellite courtrooms are sitting mostly empty on a daily basis...continue to full post
