But Seriously, Folks - the War on Drugs can be won.  If drugs are really so bad, then we need to start thinking World War II, instead of Vietnam.  Give it everything we've got, or call it a day.The key is to broaden and apply police enforcement across the board.  It's not just an inner city problem, after all.*  The same police and prosecutorial tactics/resources currently focused on the poorest communities certainly can break down the walls of the fanciest gated communities, private schools, and expensive eating/drinking/shopping/vacation establishments, and in rapid order.  Everyone from every strata of society knows someone who uses or sells illegal or non-prescribed drugs who hasn't been caught, even though they could easily be apprehended...continue to full post
