National Law Journal reports, "University of Houston Law Center names new dean."The University of Houston Law Center has named Raymond T. Nimmer as dean. Nimmer, whose work focuses on intellectual property, served as interim dean after the resignation of Nancy Rapoport in 2006, who had served as dean for six years. Nimmer has written books on information law, licensing law and commercial asset based financing. He holds the Leonard H. Childs Professorship and is a founding member of the Institute for Intellectual Property & Information Law at the University of Houston Law Center.The Law Center is home to the Texas Innocence Network.
