There were a lot of good April Fools Day pranks yesterday. My favorite prank was NPR’s Marketplace’s “IRS making sure your rebate gets spent” by sending things it thinks you need. Like an air conditioner or a mountain bike.
April 1st comes around like clockwork every year, and every year the internet is gullible as hell.
I am in trial this week with Ben Crow as co-counsel. We represent two tenants whose landlord locked them out of their house and then put their remaining possessions outside (sort of a free yard sale), then hauled everything off to the city dump. The case should go to the jury tomorrow, and I should be back posting by Friday, at the latest.
