: Of Arms and the LawRequest for fundraising ideas
I was at a meeting of the NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund. They went to the mat on Heller, providing funding, or printing costs, for several briefs, arranging the moot court training sessions (with "judges" who were 2A experts flown in to DC), etc., with the result that they were quite limited in what they could do to aid several other worthy causes (lawsuits over Katrina gun seizures, the NYC lawsuit mentioned in the last posting, suits to shut own shooting ranges, and plenty of other good things that they really wanted to help out on).
If anyone would like to contribute, just click here. And here's their main webpage.
Might you folks have worthwhile ideas for their fundraising? Ever get a mailing or email message seeking donations? I'm trying to put together a list.
