: ACS BlogAdvisers Say Obama To Move Quickly On Shuttering Military Prison
President-elect Barack Obama’s team is preparing an order to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, reports The Associated Press. The AP item quotes anonymous Obama advisers who say an executive order is expected quickly and will direct the administration to deal with the hundreds of al Qaeda suspects imprisoned there. In November, the news agency reported on Obama advisers considering a number of options for handling the military prisoners.
