Unemployment Among Blacks in NY

Unemployment is rising throughout the US; however, among the black population in New York, it is rising at a much higher rate (four times as fast) than for the NY population as a whole.    

 ?By the end of March, there were about 80,000 more unemployed blacks than whites, according to the report, even though there are roughly 1.5 million more whites than blacks here.?
