Hummer Sale Goes Sideways

The proposed sale of the Hummer brand from GM to a Chinese company has fallen through.  Based on sliding sales, GM decided to sell the Hummer brand.  The proposed buyer was a company named Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machines. Evidently the sale fell off the cliff when the possible buyer was not able to obtain the Chinese government?s approval, given a new emphasis on being green(!).
