Okay, maybe I took some liberties with the classic quote from The Graduate. In the New York Times, Nicholas Kristof makes the case that giving people more iodine will cure much of the world’s troubles. 

Almost one-third of the world?s people don?t get enough iodine from food and water. The result in extreme cases is large goiters that swell their necks, or other obvious impairments such as dwarfism or cretinism. But far more common is mental slowness.

While I don’t doubt that it may be a good idea, I’m not sure that “More Iodine!” is going to be the cure-all that he envisions. On the other hand, “More Cowbell!” - that’s a slogan I can really get excited about. I mean, just look what it did for Will Ferrell:
