: Legal Theory BlogOriginalism Works-in-Progress Conference at the University of San Diego
By Lawrence Solum
It is a glorious day in San Diego, California, with a blue sky, the sparkling Pacific, and wonderful conversation with Michael Kent Curtis and Garrett Epps. In a bit over an hour from now, we will be on our way to the University of San Diego for the Originalism Works-in-Progress Conference sponsored by the Center for the Study of Constitutional Originalism. There is a terrific lineup--with papers by Kurt Lash, Randy Barnett, Jack Balkin, James Fleming, Thomas Lee, Garrett Epps, and me, and comments from John Harrison, Michael Kent Curtis, Thomas Merrill, Keith Whittington, Jack Rakove, Michael Ramsey, and Larry Alexander.
Michael Rappaport and Michael Ramsey organized the conference, and I wanted to thank them both for doing such a terrific job! Follow the links above for the program and for information about the center!
