- Fed board member Randall Kroszner just gave a pretty good speech in Geneva on the financial crisis and how to fix it. The Fed has certainly been circulating its board members heavily - gone are the days of the aloof, mysterious central bank. Kroszner seems most worried about complex securities, and most interested in developing exchanges for them as a remedy. Note that there's not much here about global regulatory solutions, or the importance of the Basel Committee.
