: The Faculty LoungeLaw Prof Fun: The SouterSuccessor Picker
By Kevin Maillard
The New York Times features an interactive game called "If You Were President" that allows you to "interview" candidates and then vote for them. There is even a write-in section, but you can only vote once--I already tried. (No I did not vote for myself! I voted for Prof. X, who should be expecting a call from the Obama administration momentarily.)
Leading in votes now are
1. Sonia Sotomayor
2. Elena Kagan
3. Leah Ward Sears
4. Kathleen Sullivan
5. Diane Pamela Wood
...
15. Bill Clinton
16. Al Gore
It's really fun, and a productive way to divert attention from exam grading. Happy nominating!
