: The Faculty LoungeGoogle Books Settlement: The Go-To Guy
By Rob Heverly
For anyone who has been following or even just wondering about the Google Books Settlement, it seems to me the go-to guy is James Grimmelman over at the Laboratorium. Not only is James up (very, very up) on the settlement, the issues, and those who are involved (and those who are still getting involved), he writes about it with a fascination, a passion, and a turn of phrase -- with wonderful but appropriate humor -- that makes it a really interesting read (even when he's just updating the day's list of filings).
As someone who does not have the time to do the kind of "keep up" work on this case that James does, or that needs to be done to have any idea what is going on, I am very appreciate of his efforts, and if you have any interest in this issue, I predict you will be, too.
