From the News & Observer (via boingboing, Andrew Sullivan).  Remember this statement from David Gibbs III at an anti-gay marriage rally in Raleigh, North Carolina this spring?

(Gibbs) told rally participants gay marriage would "open the door to unusual marriage in North Carolina. . . .

"Maybe people will want to marry their pets or robots." (emphasis mine)

From BuzzFeed (via Chris Bodenner at The Daily Dish), these robots, developed by the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, have been programmed to kiss.
