To CV? Or Not To CV?

I sent out an article today via the Expresso service.  I declined the option to include my CV with the manuscript.  I see no legitimate purpose for adding my CV to the materials, and I've said so here.

But maybe readers can convince me otherwise.  I doubt it, though.
