The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 142,000 Hoover WindTunnel Canister Vacuums due to a faulty power cord that can short-circuit. The company reported that the power cord can pose a shock and fire risks to users, even when the vacuum has been turned off. Hoover has received 69 reports of electrical malfunctions including one minor injury. |
