Jason Wheelington and the Paradox of the Beta Male

It's now been confirmed that Jackie "Crazy Eyes" Wheelington cheated on her cancer-riddled husband. Although the trivial problems of two strangers are of no concern to me, Crazy Eyes' actions illustrate the Paradox of the Beta Male. Jason Wheelington is a good-looking guy. He has a hispster/douche look that I'd never work, but many women go for the look. Drinking PBRs and pretending to read Sartre would get that guy laid like crazy. No hate here. Moreover, Mr. Wheelington was in a band. A guy with this looks who is in a band could get as much sex as he wanted. Instead, he became a nice guy - which just means beta male. My SMU mole reports that Mr. Wheelington quit being in a band to raise his and Crazy Eyes' three-year-old son. In theory, that's every woman's dream...continue to full post
