Columbus Dispatch Picks Up on Tim Grendell, Ohio GOP Feud

Jim Siegel over at the Columbus Dispatch picked up on what Plunderbund and I have been blogging about over the last couple of days.  From this morning's paper:

Sen. Tim Grendell and his state party's top leader traded caustic jabs this week after the Republican State Central and Executive Committee condemned Grendell's decision to remain in the Ohio Senate rather than take the House seat to which he was elected.

Never one to take criticism lightly, the Chesterland Republican fired back at Ohio Republican Chairman Kevin DeWine, sharply criticizing the fact that he did not get to address the committee, and accusing the party of playing favorites.

"No one involved in this bushwhacking gave me prior notice and the opportunity to be heard," Grendell wrote to DeWine.

In a response, DeWine wrote that the committee read about his decision and justification. "Needless to say, they were not impressed with that defense."
