Yahoo Rivals Reports that NCAA Enforcement Chief says the NCAA Errs on the Side of Athletes : THAT Would be a New Policy
The current NCAA decision in the Cam Newton case is is the ONLY correct decision.
Why in God's name should any student-athlete have to suffer for actions of third persons, whether they be parents, relatives, or friends?
What has happened in America to concepts of personal responsibility?
One reason for America's dire economic straits is the abandonment of the basic concepts that made America such a great country.
Cam Newton is responsible for HIS actions, not those of other people, unless he has authorized them to act on his behalf.
If there is no proof of that, people should lay off.
In fact, NOTHING should have been publicized about this entire affair if no incriminating evidence exists.
Should such evidence be found, that is another matter, but this trial of people in public without any proof whatsoever is just like the Salem witch hunts.
Grow up, America. Grow up.
