Eccleston Law Investigates Bank of America Structured Products

By James Eccleston

ADVERTISEMENTS

Eccleston Law announces an investigation of certain Bank of America structured investments which were sold since 2005 and as having the ability to protect an investor?s full principal investment.  Bank of America and advisers selling the Bank of America structured products failed to disclose the risks of investing in the structured investments to investors.  These Bank of America structured products include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Bank of America CYCLES (Capital Protected Equity Performance Linked Securities)
  • Bank of America Return Linked Notes
  • Bank of America Strategic Equity Exposure Performance Linked Securities
  • Bank of America Columbia Strategic Cash Portfolio
  • Bank of America (Basket EAGLES) Equity Appreciation Growth Linked Securities
  • Bank of America EAGLES (Equity Appreciation Growth Linked Securities)

Various financial advisers and brokers marketed and sold principal protected notes typically to investors seeking capital preservation and income. Some investors are believed to have lost the entire principal amount of their investments in those products.

Bank of America, along with the brokers and advisers who sold those products, had a duty to use diligence and conduct a reasonable investigation to ensure that investors were provided with accurate and complete information as to the nature and the risks associated with the structured products. However, they failed to do so.

Investors who lost money investing in Bank of America structured products or another structured product may be able to recover their losses through arbitration.  Contact Jim Eccleston at the Eccleston Law Offices at 312-332-0000 to discuss your case.
