ADVERTISEMENTS

The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal is spending considerable time hearing (and usually dismissing) cases where an employee brings and Application under the Human Rights Code after having signed a release.

I've previously written about this.  Here's a sampling of some of the more recent cases:

Monteiro v. Inspec-Sol

Arora v. Weston Bakeries

Martel v. North Shore Community Support Services

Wedderburn v. Air Liquide Canada

Sutton v. United Food and Commercial Workers Canada, Local 175

Barton v. Rouge Valley Health System

Perricone v. Fabco Plastics Wholesale

Oxley v. Gus Brown Pontiac Buick GMC

Arrindell v. Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre

Ababio v. Humber River Regional Hospital

Luo v. Dell Canada
