: GamePolitics.comZynga and Playdom Settle Contentious Legal Battle

It looks like the legal battle between Facebook app developers Zynga and Playdom is officially over. The companies jointly announced this week that they have settled litigation over a year-old dispute related to the theft of trade secrets. The lawsuit filed in September of last year by Zynga alleged that four former employees who went to work for Playdom had "stolen" trade secrets which they apparently used / planned to us at their new employer.
Playdom was recently acquired by Disney, which would be one of the key reasons why all involved want to put this business behind them. Interestingly enough, Zynga sued Playdom for something its founder Mark Pincus once said was a good business practice ? copying/stealing what the competition was doing. Read More
