At last, someone defends Hillary re Bosnia

ADVERTISEMENTS
Ejup Ganic, the former acting Bosnian president who greeted Hillary Clinton when she visited Tuzla in 1996, said today in an interview.
"Although the NATO troops were in Tuzla, we still believed that some positions on the hills were occupied by radical Serbs, so I was worried about the overall safety. I was the main host and the originally planned welcoming ceremony was shrunk down," Ganic writes.

There's still a difference between the chance of sniper fire and actual sniper fire, and a shrunk ceremony and no ceremony. But at least Hillary wasn't a complete fabricator as to the danger in Bosnia at the time.

Still, if there really was a chance of sniper fire, wasn't Hillary's decision to bring Chelsea along for the trip -- not to mention the beloved Sinbad -- the pinnacle of recklessness?
