Officer Jackboot?s pretextual stop (video)

If you haven’t seen this cartoon of a defense attorney cross-examining Officer Jackboot, you really should. I laugh harder every time I see it. It has it all the greatest hits officers recite religiously nearly every time they take the stand: welfare check, experience and training, officer safety, etc. We all know officers use these phrases like they are magical talismans that can make anything legal; unfortunately, courts too often view them that way as well. Just priceless. The best legal cartoon since the Hearsay Exception Legomation. Srsly.
