Goldman Sachs' Cronies at DOJ Seek Star Chamber in Aleynikov Prosecution

This is revolting although not surprising:  Federal prosecutors in Manhattan have asked a judge to seal the courtroom in an upcoming corporate-espionage trial to protect the secret of Goldman Sachs? controversial high-speed trading software. According to Assistant United States Attorney Joseph Facciponti, "The bank has raised the possibility that there is a danger that somebody who knew how to use this program could use it to manipulate markets in unfair ways."  Is it any surprise, then, that Facciponti doesn't want members of the public and media to learn about Goldman Sachs' market-manipulating software?
